Girls, they think the run the place!

Here are the pictures I told you I'd post. I'm getting pretty good with the camera huh. Na, it's mom who takes the pictures, I can' press the button yet.







My mom made Lola 2 knitted and 1 crocheted sweater over the past couple of days. Mom says they are really easy for her.

Girls are so dumb, they go for this kind of frilly stuff and Lola actually likes to wear these things. I know mom has a knitted dress planned for Lola. Better her than me!

Lola and brother are getting along better, even played a little until Lola bit brothers leg. He didn't do anything to her, he just looked at her like "girl, are you crazy?". When we are outside, brother just ignores her, but we all play in the house to aggravate mom and Cara.

Cara is using that thingy that makes all the noise on the carpet right now. She put all our toys in the big basket and told us not to take them out. Yeah right, as soon as that thing quits making all the noise, we are going to go in there and pull out all the toys again. Cara says we have too many toys, mom says we don't. I think mom spoils us a little, don't you?

I have a surprise for you..........

First, I have to show you this picture of me in this hat that my mom has been looking at, at the yarn shop. She says it makes me look so "French". What do you think? Anything to make mom happy, right. But now I have someone else to share these icky clothes with!




I even got some of my toys out for my new surprise..........

Cara went out and bought her that Chrome Bones collar, and she spent a lot on it too. Doesn't she just look beautiful in it!

Let me tell you something about this Babe. She looks shy and acts shy, but she has absolutely no problem what so ever taking my bone. Sis and I are going to have a very long talk this evening!

Gotta go, I have to hide the rest of my bones from her.

New Pictures!

Hi everyone,

Mom has really got the camera thing down now, so I am able to post some pictures for you. Look at the two blankets that she made for me. I just l-o-v-e them. People say I'm spoiled, but I'm not....really I'm not.

And here is a picture of me and brother in Cara's room. Notice who "rules the bed".

Of course I have to give ample photo time to Cara too. What do you think, isn't she a babe? Ya gotta love her.

Now you tell me who rules that bed!

Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you. I've been sooooo good about not chewing the carpet, the when mom comes home, she is so HAPPY that she gives me dog cookies - and boy are they good.

I'm a year old now!

It was my birthday yesterday but we are celebrating it today. I wanted to post some pictures now before all the cake was gone.

Happy Weekend!

I can't believe I haven't posted in so long. Time is just going so quickly for me.

Cara's car was sick on Monday, then mom's car was sick on Wednesday. It's no fun when the bye-bye's don't work right.

Brother is doing much better, his tummy problems are gone. I'm glad he's better and we have been playing in the house and getting in trouble....like usual. He, he, he.

Mom found everything she needs to put pictures on the computer again, so as soon as she does, I'll be posting pictures of me and brother.

Tomorrow is my birthday, I'm going to be a year old. Yesterday at mom's work they all wished me a pre- Happy Birthday.

It's raining here today. It's only suppose to rain through the evening.

I haven't been to the yarn shop in awhile and I think mom might be taking me tomorrow. We always go to lunch before we go there - I can't wait.

Good weekend........

Hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was just great.

I didn't get in any trouble at all.....I told you I wouldn't. I promised mom that I wouldn't tear my food bag open again and gave her those big brown eyes. She couldn't resist.

Sunday morning mom went out and bought two big plastic continers for the dog food. One for my food and the other for brother's food.

Mom is so proud of me. When she went out Sunday, and when she got home yesterday, I didn't eat the carpet. She gave me dog cookies because I was so good. I just hope I can hold out today...that carpet is so fun to chew~

Brother isn't feeling well and he got mad at me last night. He was showing his teeth and growling at me, and Cara got after him. Brother ran to mom for safety and Cara got mad because he did that. Mom talked to brother and found out that he wasn't feeling good, his tummy is still sick. Mom gave him some medicine last night and this morning. I hope brother feels better when he gets home tonight.

The computer did come home and Cara is very happy. Now she is letting us sleep and not waking us up because SHE can't sleep.

My birthday is coming up, I'll be 1 year old on Saturday. Mom made me a new cotton sweater for my birthday. It's really nice, but I don't like wearing sweaters. But to make her happy, I'll wear it. Mom can't figure out how I can take off my sweaters - and I'm not going to tell her my secret either. He, he, he.

I'm in BIG trouble........

I have to hurry and post this so I don't get caught....I'm in BIG trouble.

Yeap, I got attitude today because Cara didn't take me to work with her this morning, so I ate the carpet and tore open my brand new bag of dog food.

Not sure what mom is going to say or do when she gets home. I know Cara snitched on me when she came home at lunch. I'll just have to practice my "cute sad face" for when mom gets home....she always falls for that. She tries to be upset with me, but she's just a big marshmallow.

I hear our computer is coming home tonight, hooray. Maybe I'll still have computer privileges over the weekend. Of course I will silly, I'm "Wally", the cute pup.

I have bone issues........

Mom says I have bone issues. Last night she found all my stashes of bones and said that I have to share with big brother. I don't want to, I don't want to, I don't want to.

When I share with big brother, he chews them all and then I have nothing. Poor little me, with no bones.

I think mom says I have bone issues is because this morning she found two under her pillow, along with me. It was cold and she has this great down pillow that is so nice and warm...so I got under it, and took my bones so they wouldn't be cold either.

Mom has pillows all over the bed for me. She says they are "bumpers" for me...she's so silly, bumpers are on cars! He, he, he. She makes me laugh.

It's a beautiful day here in Los Angeles. I stayed home and ran in and out all day as Cara was home too. It's nice out, but a little on the cool side. Hopefully the weekend will be nice and hot so I can sit in the sun.

Our computer should be coming home soon. It was a real mess so I hear. Mom will be glad when it's home, but Cara more so.

Can't wait for dinner time, can you?

Look what I have..........

Aren't these cute like me!!!!! My friend, Danielle, made these for me. I'm such a lucky dachshund. I love them both, but the "hot dog Wally" caught my eye even more. Thanks Danielle.

Well, we have no computer at home right now. Something happened to it the other night and now it's waiting to be fixed. Good thing the computer is being fixed, I already had that done and it was no fun. Mom was worried sick.

It rained so much last night. I was very brave and went out in it. Cara dried me off when I came in. Don't worry, my curly hair came back to life.

Nothing more to report for today. I'm just sooo happy about my blog button.

Rain, Rain, go away.........

It's finally raining here, and it's been raining most of the day. All I can do is look out at the rain, I'll drown if I go out in it. Well, I really won't drown since they fixed our drains outside, but my tummy just does not like to get all wet and cold.

I couldn't post last night because mom was watching another one of those LifeTime movies and she said I couldn't get on the computer. Then before the movie was over, I wanted mom to go to bed so I could too.

Last night I hid 3 balls, 1 dachshund, and 2 bones in mom's bed. You should have seen her when she would roll over them during the night. I just sat there laughing at her.

Oh, and speaking of bones, I told you I would get them. Mom had Cara give them to us later that night. Brother ate almost all of his bone, but I still have mine whole. My bone is as big as I am, and it's kind of hard to walk with. But brother knows to stay away from it or I will let him have it with "puppy-fu". I'm good at that and brother knows it too.

Not a good day.......

Mom went shopping this morning for bones and Easter stuff, and I sort of got upset that they left me. I kind of had temper tantrum while they were gone.

When they got home, the rug was pulled up (again) and stuff knocked off the dining room table. Let me tell you, she was not happy to see the mess. She was so upset with me that she didn't even speak to me.....for about ten minutes. Then we had a BIG talk.

Mom did get the new bones, but she hasn't given them to us yet. I know she will later, she always gives in. Mom also picked up the stuff for the Easter baskets, and she got me these funky ears to have my picture taken in. If she leaves them on the table tonight, I'll be sure to get up there and hide them. The things a dachshund has to go through to make someone happy.

Brother went to our Aunt's house for the day and he just came home. I didn't know it was him coming in and I was growling like a big dog at him. He just gave me the "outta the way kid" look. That's okay, I know he is scared of me. I might be small, but boy can I run....and run into places that he can't "fit" into! Ha, ha bro.

It was sunny here today and I did a little sunbathing. It's been awhile since I was able to do that. But this afternoon the clouds started to come in and it turned cold really fast. We are suppose to have rain tomorrow and Tuesday.

Did you remember to change your clocks today? Mom was still asleep, but "have no fear, Wally's here" and I reminded her this morning.

That's about it for today. I'm going to go start working on mom for those new bones. She bought the really big ones.

Oh, and that picture above is me and my big brother. I'll post a better picture of him later, I just wanted you to see the difference in our sizes.

Happy April Fool's Day!

Today it rained this morning and you won't believe what happened to me. I got wet and turned into a Great Dane.......April Fool's.

It rained here all night and into this morning. When I went out to potty I got all wet and had to be dried. Guess I really do need a scuba suit here in Los Angeles.

Since it was raining, big brother stayed home (he usually goes to my Aunt's house) and we played in mom's yarn this morning. She wasn't too happy but of course she got over it when she looked at my face. I so have her wrapped around my paw - but don't tell her that.

Well, with it raining and brother home, I didn't get to go meet Cara for lunch, nor go to my favorite yarn store. Cara came home for lunch and I was so glad to see her. Mom even gave me and brother lunch too, it was yummy to the tummy.

I spent most of the morning running in and out of the patio door. I "insisted" that it be left open so I could go in and out to check the weather. When the rain stopped, brother and I chased the cats outside until they didn't want to play anymore. After that we were pretty tired and we took a nap while my mom watched this dumb movie on t.v. and crocheted. My mom really likes to watch LifeTime on Saturdays. I prefer Animal Planet.

If it's dry tomorrow I think mom is going to go out and buy me and brother some new bones. Rain, rain, go away...come back after bones are here.

Next Sunday I think we are going to PetSmart to get some things for my Easter Basket. Shhh, I'm going to make an Easter Basket for big brother, I think he will be surprised, don't you?

I'm getting a little tired now, so I will go take a nap and then chase the cats again.
